The teams will race next Jan. 22 at Sunburst Ski Area in Kewaskum.
The varsity boys basketball team from Williams Bay lost in an extremely close 64-67 game against the Harvard Hornets (Illinois) on Jan. 20. The team is improving every game with this one being the closest yet to a win.Â
The competition in Kewaskum included Cedarburg, West Bend, Marquette and Divine Savior Holy Angels high schools.
Sophomore from Badger Kayden Jarvis won the all around while the team also took first place in a triangular conference meet.
Two 1st places overall wins this week for Badger Boys Varsity Alpine Ski and the first 1st place overall win for the Badger Girls Varsity team this season.Â
BFHS Girls Basketball lost 42-51 against Beloit Turner on a Thursday night conference game. Turner had another celebration as senior Jayla Hodges achieved her 1,000th career point.Â
The girls varsity basketball team won 78-55, while the boys team fell 89-80.

Several team members reached career milestones and broke school records.
The next race will be the WIARA State Championships in La Crosse on Feb. 15-16.
Leah Paulsen led all scorers with 24 points and Mya Gonzalez had 17 points.
Badger played in a conference double header against Westosha Central on Feb. 13. The boys team came out with a win and the girls ultimately fell in the last minute to the Falcons.
The Badger boys swim team won sectionals at Beloit Memorial and will swim at the State Championship.
Badger won the Alpine Ski State Championship for Division 1 for the 3rd year in a row during the Feb. 15-16 race in La Crosse. Reid Hirn takes home the overall Individual State Championship.
