Four members of the Badger High School Alpine ski teams qualified for state while competing against Waukesha, Menomonee Falls, Nicolet and Muskego at Alpine Valley on Jan. 14. Liddy Lynch placed second and Ella Jahns placed third, qualifying them for the state competition. John Lynch place first and Jacob Juergens placed third to earn state berths. Anderson Greenberg recorded a fifth-place finish for the boys varsity team, which took first overall. The teams will race next Jan. 22 at Sunburst Ski Area in Kewaskum.
