Kenosha County Public Health is offering $5 radon test kits throughout January — Radon Action Month — to anyone who donates a nonperishable food item to be donated to local food pantries.
Work is progressing on the restoration of the historic Ceremonial Courtroom in the Kenosha County Courthouse. A project years in the making, the multi-million dollar effort has been supported by community donations and other benefactors.
Located at 3500 52nd St., 147,000-square-foot facility will centralize all of the county’s Human Services operations in the heart of the community, replacing the Kenosha County Job Center.
Bikers across Kenosha could have even more access to bike trails in the city. The City of Kenosha has been awarded a $5.5 million federal grant to extend an existing county bike trail.
