Upcoming improvements to two sections of Kenosha County Highway H (88th Avenue) will be the subject of a public information meeting from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at the Pleasant Prairie Village Hall.
The project includes resurfacing approximately 1.8 miles of Highway H between Highway 165 (104th Street) and 93rd Place, and between Bain Station Road and Prairie Village Boulevard. Curb and gutter will be replaced in spot locations as needed, and new pavement markings and signage will be installed.
Highway H will remain open to through traffic during most of the project, with flagging operations in place as needed during milling and paving work. Short-term closures will be required at the roundabouts at Bain Station Road and Highway C (Wilmot Road).
The public information meeting will include a brief presentation at approximately 5:15 p.m.
The Pleasant Prairie Village Hall is located at 9915 39th Ave. The meeting will be held in the auditorium on the south end of the building.
