RACINE — Since its opening almost eight weeks ago, Hye Ground Cafe has already garnered regulars and received a positive reception from the downtown community.
A local middle school student’s project about Armenia is displayed on a table in Hye Ground Cafe. Melanie Buchaklian said the cafe provided traditional Armenian pastries for the student for his presentation.
Along with nods to Racine, touches of Armenian culture are evident in Hye Ground’s decor, including this traditional rug that was given to Melanie Buchaklian by her mother.
