KENOSHA — Carthage College will host a spring Philharmonic Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9, in the A.F. Siebert Chapel, 2011 Alford Park Drive.
The Lincoln Symposium focuses on former U.S. president Abraham Lincoln’s legacy and the Civil War. Carthage College and the Civil War Museum will host the symposium in partnership with the Lincoln Forum and the Lincoln Presidential Foundation, Carthage announced on Wednesday.
The event, which is free and open to the public, begins with a networking reception at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 in Carthage’s Hedberg Library.
Marieta Huff, Cyndean Jennings, and GeorgAnn Stinson-Dockery have been named by the Mahone Foundation in Kenosha as 2026 Dr. Bryan Albrecht Living Legend Award recipients.
KENOSHA — The Wild Prairie Winds woodwind quintet will join with the Carthage Wind Orchestra on Wednesday, March 18, at 7:30 for a combined concert at Carthage, 2001 Alford Park Drive.
George Chardukian, a wealth management advisor and Racine native, has joined Carthage College’s Board of Trustees. Chardukian recently provided philanthropic support to help the college establish the Dudley Riggle Endowed Chair for Campus Ministry.
The Duncan Family Nursing Education Center includes modern simulation labs and collaborative learning spaces modeled after professional clinical environments, according to a Tuesday news release. The center is located on the lower level of Carthage’s Hedberg Library.
The free event takes place from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at the college’s Todd Wehr Center, 2001 Alford Park Drive.
Cornog, a Carthage board trustee emeritus, served as president and CEO of Kenosha-based Snap-On from 1991 to 2001. He retired as the company’s chairman in 2002.

KENOSHA — The final concert of the year for the Carthage Wind Orchestra and Concert Band is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, May 3, in the A. F. Siebert Chapel, 2001 Alford Park Drive.
The degree program will include concentrations in performance, technical production and design, and playmaking and dramatic literature, according to Carthage’s June 22 announcement. Carthage is now accepting applications for the new BFA in theatre arts program.
