Ridglan Farms, a dog breeding and research facility in the town of Blue Mounds, is "clearly problematic," said U.S. Rep. Mark Pocan, who believes the public sees that, too.
Activists said they hoped to raise awareness about animal testing and shut down the town of Blue Mounds farm. Ridglan says it abides by strict state and federal regulations and "no court, agency or investigator has ever made a finding of animal cruelty."
Aidan Kankyoku, one of the leaders of the Coalition to Save the Ridglan Dogs, said he wished law enforcement had gone after Ridglan Farms on Saturday, not those trying to shut it down.
