Olivia Deering receives the Care and Support Volunteer of the Year award at the Alzheimer’s Association’s 38th Annual Wisconsin State Conference held at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells on May 5-6.
Olivia Deering, a 2018 graduate of Badger High School and 2022 graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, was recently presented with the “Care and Support Volunteer of the Year” Award from the Alzheimer’s Association’s Annual Wisconsin Conference.

Members of Janet Hebl’s family gather in her honor on Saturday, Sept. 17 for Walworth County’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Lake Geneva’s Library Park. They were there along with approximately 500 others in support of a cure for Alzheimer’s. Hebl had 17 children. Her daughter Lynn Koloditch lives in Lake Geneva. For more coverage, see page A4.
