Unnecessary fouls have been the University of Wisconsin women’s basketball’s Achilles heel all season. After pulling within one point of Illinois in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament on Wednesday in Indianapolis, the Badgers committed 17 fouls in the final 15 minutes, putting any comeback hopes to bed.
