RACINE — The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation recognized the Downtown Racine Corporation as Wisconsin Main Street of the Year during its 35th annual awards ceremony in Wausau.
The New Cafe, a restaurant serving brunch and lunch food, officially opened its doors Friday, July 11, bringing a taste of Mexico City to Downtown Racine.
One Stop Shop Thrift, Downtown Racine's new store, will open this Saturday. The store will sell a variety of goods, including clothing, at affordable prices.
Arrow Smoothies & Cafe, 424 Main St., opened Monday, April 7. It offers a variety of smoothies as well as açaí and smoothie bowl, all of which are made from real fruit.
The shop will sell a curated selection of contemporary cottons, African and Asian prints, cross-stitch embroidery and supplies, and specialty notions. It also will host trunk shows, monthly clubs for makers and small-group textile art classes.
