TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The result of the University of Wisconsin football team’s game Saturday wasn’t in question roughly 90 minutes after kickoff.

What would Dennis Green say?
They are what we thought they were.

Mind the gap
Just may be a bit of a talent gap between the two teams.

What did you expect?
A group of 3 star recruits lost to a team of 5 star recruits…pretty predictable…Oline, Rb and Qb play needs to be better…Bama Qb way to comfortable all day

Realistic expectations
Couldn’t expect much going into Tuscaloosa with a backup QB and reshuffled O-line.

Give yourself options
I’m not sure how you can have that big of a program from a Big Ten school and not have one player besides Jake Renfro able to snap a football in shotgun formation.

Timing matters
When we scheduled Bama UW had just come off 5 of 7 years of BCS bowls.

That's how far we've fallen.
And Tressel overplayed the run and didn't adjust.
Because he isn't a good coach
Nicer home?
Wisconsin Football is now Rutgers with a bigger stadium

Way harsh
We are worse than the product Chryst got fired for.
— NF Lindy (@nflindy24) September 13, 2025
Wrong way
Mismatch in talent. OLine is hurting. Not much else to say. The program is moving further away from their last good year (2019) and the longer that goes on, the worse it gets.

All is not lost
I'm able to temper expectations. Backup QB, makeshift OL. Just too many mistakes for this level of competition. I'd like to see a few years of continuity. Alvarez teams laid a few eggs in his day also, but we live in this instant success era.

For comparison
Feel better than last year actually

It's going to be OK
6-6. Fickell keeps his job, and we win 10 next year.
— Kyle Runde (@KyleRunde) September 13, 2025
You take the good, you take the bad
Other than DBs getting roasted, offense not being able to run the ball, TOs, stupid penalties, a struggling OL, not bad.

Win next week & they are 3-1.
Grimes actually called an ok game.
Wait til we get Edwards, right?
Hey ...
Held em under 50

... even better
Held them under 40

Looking ahead
Defense played well but got no help from the offense. Alabama got help from questionable calls and no calls but that is what happens playing on the road. The real season starts next week

Gonna be all right
4 more wins and we’re bowl eligible!

NEXT!
Expected. Moving on to Maryland
