With Tyler Wahl’s outstanding defense and A.J. Storr scoring 28, the Badgers defeat Sparty, 81-66, and are now 8-1 in Big Ten play. Wisconsin played with the intensity needed to beat Sparty in the season series. Next up? At Nebraska in the return game Thursday, Feb. 1.

Michigan State played with urgency like the Spartans of old. They crashed the boards and scored from inside and outside. Even so, they couldn’t match Wisconsin. That says so much about how good the Badgers are this year.
