GREEN BAY — When Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst decided Wednesday to suspend cornerback Jaire Alexander for one game for what they’d deemed conduct detrimental to the team, the Green Bay Packers coach and general manager agreed the punishment was necessary.
