The first bobkitten taken in by Dane County Humane Society's Wildlife Center since the rehabilitation program began more than 20 years ago was released last month.
The bobcat found in Mazomanie in July was sent after two weeks in Madison to Wild Instincts in Rhinelander, one of the state's largest animal rehabilitation centers. The bobcat joined three others found orphaned in northern Wisconsin.
