Making major moves
Ben Rothwell, 43, a Paris native and 2000 Westosha Central High School graduate, is giving back to his community in a major way with a brand new MMA facility, Rothwell Mixed Martial Arts.
Located on Highway 50 in the city of Kenosha, Rothwell and his crew moved west a few miles to his hometown, right off I-94 and Highway 158.
After Rothwell won his first professional heavyweight championship with a Bareknuckle Fighting Championship title victory in late January, Kenosha Mayor David Bogdala honored Rothwell Feb. 8 by declaring "Ben Rothwell Day" in the city of Kenosha.
According to their website, the new gym offers Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, fitness classes and kickboxing for all ages, with any level of experience.
For more information, contact the gym at (262) 764-5020 and visit rothwellmma.com.
