During last year’s Men’s basketball run, you told fans to “pump the breaks” because the season was young and a lot could happen. It was a wise take, because the Big Ten can have a ton of surprises. Do you feel the same way with the new football makeup? With staff/transfers/etc?

with the bowl game over, Will Jimmy L grant interviews now about this season ? Any good hints on who is reaching out to him for DC or HC positions ?
— Giuseppe Solare' (@polkatornado) January 2, 2023
So what are Jim L.'s chances of a Packer job now that Joe Barry has revived himself?

I know many FB Alums were excited about JL as possible HC...A couple were very upset when Fickell was named...even one said it would be tough to support the program. What have you herd about the program alums about the move?

When do you anticipate the football coaching staff will be finalized/announced and what current staff is being considered for the new staff? Things have been pretty quiet other than Longo and a few other names. Lots of positions to fill.

My actual question: do you think Mordecai was a situation where UW drew him away from SMU, and without us doing so he would have stayed put? Or would he have hit portal regardless? Interesting how there wasn’t really a free agent period with him taking visits to multiple places.
— Garrett (@gstuder22) January 2, 2023
Jim is there somewhere that we can see all this transfers and new commits for next year? Why do I feel like there are 4 new highly rated QBs coming in next season?
— Craig Culbertson (@CjcCraig) January 4, 2023
now that we seem to have ample QB's for short and long term , do we amp up the recruiting for WR, TE , RB , and OL in the portal , or more likely with traditional high school recruits ?
— Giuseppe Solare' (@polkatornado) January 2, 2023
What will big 10 football scheduling parameters be when there are no more divisions?
— Douglas Greenberg (@DougGreenB) January 2, 2023
How public are NIL deals? It would be interesting to know what kind of money Mordecai is getting, particularly with the stories (rumors?) about potential late round QBs getting more NIL money than they would expect to get by being drafted.

Do you think @CoachFick restores the Spring game to build on all the momentum of his hiring? https://t.co/HGMSOIGzYE

You think the basketball team has a chance in the run for the conference title

Why is it so difficult for UW to turn women’s hoops around? Seems like Moseley will be no more successful than Tsipis

Is there ever going to be college baseball at the UW or should I just give up on that in my lifetime...
— Brian Lamboley (@brianlamboley) January 2, 2023
What happened that the Packers DC & D players have turned the defense around? Same players & Coaches!
— Paul Yochum'63 (@PaulYochum63) January 3, 2023
Are the Packers really a better team today than in the middle of the season? Their identity is Rodgers and shot plays whereas other teams, eg Ravens, Steelers, 49ers identities transcend a single player.

Fans see room for growth after Wisconsin men's basketball edges Minnesota
Take what you can get
Still sloppy at times, and WAY too many rebounds that were tipped/slapped instead of grabbed. But Klesmitt was a stud on D and Chucky was a thief. I’ll take the W and a 3-0 start in the B1G.
— Russ Evansen (@waunaruss) January 4, 2023
Gritty, not pretty
Agree, Chucky needs to be more aggressive on offense. Connor sits for way too long at times. I think not having a big like Vogt really hurts them in the post and rebounding

What's not to love?
Love this win
— chuckwestover (@chuckwestover) January 4, 2023
Why?
Hep and Crowl were huge, making up for Wahl being out
Essegian needs more PT
Doing just enough ... again
Ugh again. Keep on winning though.
— Mr. Scott (@SCforestbrook) January 4, 2023
Eyes on the prize
Another gritty win! It doesn’t always have to look pretty. Getting the W is what matters most and winning isn’t easy in the Big 10. No matter what the records are when these 2 teams play, it’s always a battle between Wisconsin & Minnesota. Plus, #Badgers love beating the Gophers!
— Michael Herfel⚓️💙🤍 (@MichaelHerfel7) January 4, 2023
Fingers crossed
We need Tyler Wahl, hope he’s ok. Kudos to guys playing to gut it out. Chuckie and Max were great
— Dennis Whitehead (@Badgerden1) January 4, 2023
Rising to the challenge
Good teams find ways to win when they have injuries & are more than a little off at times! Thanx to Chucky & Klesmet.
— Mark Massey (@mfmass) January 4, 2023
Breathing a bit easier
— cali badger 🦡 (@calibadger) January 4, 2023
Building up their bonafides
Nice experience build for some of the bench. Wahl better heal up though.
— Ryan Mason (@qdobagoodingjr) January 4, 2023
Dancing in the danger zone
Badgers will be vulnerable against bigger squads without Wahl in the lineup. The outside shooting, so much better than last year, saved them tonight.

Facts
A B1G win is a B1G win! Style points don't mean a thing
— Ryan Antony (@RyanAntony22) January 4, 2023
Tougher tests await
Gonna have to be much better against real Big Ten teams. Turned over the 199th ranked team in Ken Pom 19 times and shot 40% from 3 and won by 3. Not great.
— Ian (@accountofian) January 4, 2023
You're not alone
I can’t take many more of these close games. But it’s a fun squad to watch.
— Badger Steve 🧀🍺🦌 (@UW_Steve) January 4, 2023
Laying it on a little thick
Best team ever
— aarondentz (@aarondentz) January 4, 2023
Finding ways to win
Badgers have minimal depth but managed to pull out a win without their best player for most of the game.
— Jeffrey Bonavia (@jmbonavia) January 4, 2023
Entering lockdown mode
Chuck-D Hepburn! … Klesmitt also clutch defense
— Brian Bruhn (@bcbruhn) January 4, 2023
All about the end results
Great win without Wahl. Hate to see them lose a 15 point lead, but they did enough for the W.
— Doug Clemann (@DougClemann) January 4, 2023
Yes, yes it is
It’s a win
— Michael Drew 🍻🍻 (@MikeDrewWhat) January 4, 2023
Sinking to their level
We play to the level of competition. We need stop playing to the lower level teams.
— Chris Ehle (@CJ_Ehle) January 4, 2023
And on that note ...
14 out of the last 16. Enough said.
