That's the danger zone for sports fans
Two consecutive weeks of strong, physical, smart football? In this economy?

This team is starting to raise my hopes.
(insert dart emote)
Credit where it’s due, a massive step up in play calling by coordinators the last 2 games

Well said
That’s why ya look at them one at a time and why ya look at them one at a time. I felt like a victory was more than possible, this convincing a win, well I was ready for the O, wasn’t sure the D was quite this ready… good stuff let’s not stub our toe at NW next week!!!
— Mark Benson (@MarkBen23939436) October 12, 2024
What a time to be alive
When the offensive line performs well, good things happen. Hats off to them and the D today. Hard to remember the last time we blew out conference opponents in consecutive weeks.
— Randall Kohl (@crandallkohl) October 12, 2024
Scoring first was huge
Winning instills confidence and keeps the arm chair fans at bay. Offense came out early and scored and is looking comfortable. Have to limit mistakes and maintain momentum with the lead. Next up is Northwestern which has been a house of horrors for Wisconsin on the road

Locke looks different the last two weeks
I posted here last weekend that this Badgers team can compete with their future opponents this season. That after seeing new players sprinkled into the Purdue game who performed well giving fans hope. Walker and Dupree are studs. The Badgers have their quarterback. Excited!

Don't know why it's opened up against these opponents
No more dink and dunk. They’re running the football and opening it up by throwing medium and long. Different offense, completely. I like it. The defense is getting better by the week too.

Flipped the switch
The Air Raid we have all been waiting for, impatiently!!
— seanu82766@gmail.com (@seanu82766) October 12, 2024
But the defense has turned 100% better too.
Some switch got flipped last week, and now they have momentum and confidence!!

That was brutal
Really enjoyed watching this game - other than the last 2 minutes of the first half
— Alex Kasper (@alexmkasper) October 12, 2024
It almost always is
Badgers controlled both lines of scrimmage—-that was the key to the game
— Dan Scherschel (@dlscherschel) October 12, 2024
Probably the biggest surprise for me, too
Didn’t think deep balls to Vinny Anthony would be the key to unlocking this offense - but here we are
— Robinson Muff-Potter (@RMuff_Potter) October 12, 2024
Happy to see Braedyn grow and continued ascension of Trech, Dupree, Vinny.
Best defensive performance of the year unquestionably
Weird to put him in just to hand it off
I wish Fickell would've put in Mettauer earlier to get some reps. Would be fun to see what he could do
— JMyron (@sleepyjmyron) October 12, 2024
Yet, right on schedule if mapped out prior to season
Absolute progress, albeit against lesser competition. Everyone happy to see that!
— Daniel Konar (@daniel_konar) October 12, 2024
8-4 (bowl eligible!) looks possible - and that wasn't a lock a couple weeks back. 🤷🏻♂️
You love to see it
Wanted to see if they could handle success and build upon it on the road against a 4-1 team.
— Fred Ehle (@FredEhle) October 12, 2024
Answered!
Brick by brick, as some may say
Impressive. Best win for Fickell. Played both halves. Set the tone right off the kickoff. Hopefully building something here.
— Scott L (@CCSO228) October 12, 2024
I don't want to think about it
Improvement! Nice to see OL getting better. Let’s make it three in a row next week. What could go wrong in Evanston?
— Brian S (@BrianSm71994635) October 12, 2024
Real
Rutgers and Purdue both pretty weak. Badgers do have some flow now. WE SHALL SEE.
— Coach Eddie (@EddieAndrist1) October 12, 2024
Could be a spooky end to October
Well, I must say it’s waaay more fun watching the Badgers win! Except for a few lapses, Badgers controlled both sides of the ball. However, the big test will be when Penn State comes to town!!

Thank goodness for the heated turf
Can’t wait until we make the playoffs in 2025-2027 so many great young guys on this team Fickell era is going to be so great
