Welcome back to a late-summer edition of the Open Jim mailbag. This feels like the calm before the storm of training camps starting.
For years we heard that high academic standards at Wisconsin precluded the Badgers from competing for the most highly skilled athletes. A lot of offers have gone out to 4+ star recruits. Have academic standards been relaxed for Coach Fickell?

What do you think is more likely: Yelich's performance this year is more reflective of his performance the next few years, or are his last two years more reflective of what's to come? Given the Hader trade, is there any chance ownership tries to do a trade at Yelich's high point?

I’ll come back to a question I asked and you answered a few weeks ago. Who do you trade out and get back at the deadline? 44-9 in games they score 4 or more runs. 18-8 since the 6 game skid. Can they get better to beat the Braves?
