Some Wisconsin football fans not yet satisfied after win at Northwestern
Exactly how we thought, too
5-2, right on schedule. Rough three weeks for the haters. Hope everyone can chill the heck out now.

Not bad
C game on the road in Evanston winning 23-3? Gimme that

Could be fun, should be
Any win in Evanston is a good win.

Madison is going to be lit next Saturday night! The next test-for Penn State!
I'm ready for the Rucci 'Thank you' video
Good win in a weird environment but going to have to put their big boy pants on next week.

Offense has room for improvement
One glaring thing on the stat sheet we will have to do much better down the stretch on is 4/12 on 3rd down conversions against a very mediocre NE defense.

Domination like last week
Before the game everybody was saying look out for NW. after the game everybody seems to be unhappy with a 20 point win. I don’t know what people want.
— Dan D. (@One_Punch_Dan) October 19, 2024
Which is weird with strong OL
For all the progress they've made, and it is substantial, short yardage situations continue to be a major problem.

It felt out of sync
Defense is playing at a high level and getting even better every game. No rhythm on offense. A lot of weapons but Locke was poor all game and Longo has no ability to get them into a groove. Too many head scratchers to list on that side of the ball,
— ryebadger (@ryebadger1) October 19, 2024
Is that good?
117-16 the last three weeks. Bad time to be a Fickell hater!
— In Development 🎯 (@j__1252) October 19, 2024
His growth is a positive development
The defense the last three games has felt like the defenses we were used to seeing in the 2010’s; Jaheim Thomas has really turned it around
— Former Greg Gard Stan (@dcjorgenson) October 19, 2024
That's a really good stretch
Badgers defense has really been impressive these last three games, holding Northwestern scoreless in the 1st half while forcing a safety for the 1st time since 2019, and holding their last 3 opponents to only 16pts, the lowest since the 1999 Rose Bowl team.

Have to have confidence given recent results
Happy to see them at 5-2. Lost the 2 games you would expect, but beating the teams they should.
— Madtown Alum (@madtownalum) October 19, 2024
A win over PSU would be huge for the program. At least they are going into game playing well.
Mabrey has played ...
Defense is making some nice strides. Special teams A +. Offense had moment, but inconsistent overall. The next evolution for this offense will be with a true dual threat at QB.

A sign of progress?
Night and Day difference between 2023 Badgers vs Northwestern and the game today.

Felt like an NFL London game
They won, but that was ugly by both teams.
— Más Tequila (@JoRy_MaMa) October 19, 2024
Quite a different feeling from a month ago
I know how Northwestern feels - we’ve been there! Tremendous defensive performance by Tressel and the Badger defense. Offense still needs work, but they have really improved - lots of credit should go to Longo. Glad he stuck around!! On to Penn State! pic.twitter.com/eZ2RCWFR5b

As sweet as the corn in Sun Prairie
good game in the second half. cant start that slow next week. need this win so now we can just beat Iowa and lock bowl eligibility down
— Mitchell Brunmeier (@mabman21) October 19, 2024
The people are asking!
Rose Bowl?
— Justin (@JSchmitz18) October 19, 2024
Midterm exam coming
This team looks complete on both sides of the ball. Next weekend is going to be fun. 👐👐👐
