Susan Crawford joins Wisconsin Supreme Court, ‘ready to meet this moment’

Solidifying liberal control of the Wisconsin Supreme Court for the next three years, Susan Crawford formally joined the court Friday with a pledge to focus on the rule of law in a time of increased political pressure on federal and state courts.
Since it was formed 170 years ago, “this court has stepped up in the moments that matter most,” Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Susan Crawford said Friday after her being sworn in.
