After several iterations, years of negotiations and a swapping-out of developers, a long-awaited hotel designed to serve Downtown convention business is on the cusp of opening.
The lobby of the city’s newest hotel, the nearly completed Embassy Suites by Hilton, will open Thursday and is designed to serve the Monona Terrace Convention Center located a half-block away.
