UW-Madison students demand expulsion for student who made racist video

UW-Madison students join arms and head to Library Mall from Bascom Hill after presenting Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin a list of demands in response to a racist video posted on social media by a student. Students marched in protest following what many felt was an unsatisfactory response from the university's administration over the now-deleted video in which a white female student was seen saying she wanted some people returned to slavery and voiced her desire to personally abuse them.
Hundreds of students confronted UW-Madison Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin over a racist video a white student briefly posted online earlier this week, calling for a public apology from the chancellor’s office and new programming to prevent bias incidents in the future.
