Voting is underway in Kenosha County for the spring primary election. In-person absentee voting opened at City Hall on Tuesday for the Feb. 17 primary.
The election, which will take place Nov. 3, is a partisan race. James Beller, who is running as a Republican is challenging David Zoerner, the incumbent and also a Republican, who is seeking reelection.
Special voting deputies appointed by the City of Kenosha will be conducting spring election absentee voting for residents at Kenosha area care facilities starting next week.
Rep. Amanda Nedweski, R-Pleasant Prairie, has announced she will seek re-election to a third term in District 32 of the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2026.
Sandy Wiedmeyer, R-Bristol, has announced her candidacy for the Wisconsin State Senate for District 11, which includes portions of Kenosha, Racine, Walworth, and Rock counties.
