The Lincoln Symposium focuses on former U.S. president Abraham Lincoln’s legacy and the Civil War. Carthage College and the Civil War Museum will host the symposium in partnership with the Lincoln Forum and the Lincoln Presidential Foundation, Carthage announced on Wednesday.

George Chardukian, a wealth management advisor and Racine native, has joined Carthage College’s Board of Trustees. Chardukian recently provided philanthropic support to help the college establish the Dudley Riggle Endowed Chair for Campus Ministry.
The Duncan Family Nursing Education Center includes modern simulation labs and collaborative learning spaces modeled after professional clinical environments, according to a Tuesday news release. The center is located on the lower level of Carthage’s Hedberg Library.
Cornog, a Carthage board trustee emeritus, served as president and CEO of Kenosha-based Snap-On from 1991 to 2001. He retired as the company’s chairman in 2002.
