Like many early Wisconsin supper clubs, The Duck Inn opened in the Prohibition-era 1920s as an illicit speakeasy where customers would “duck in” for a drink, dining and dancing. Today, the popular heritage supper club draws customers from as far afield as Rockford, Madison, Milwaukee and Kenosha. Said 28-year owner Jeffrey Karbash, “We’re in the middle of nowhere, but in the middle of everything.”
