Madison's Giselle Lindert Olivencia is this year's State Journal/WiscNews All-Area girls lacrosse Player of the Year. The sophomore midfielder led Madison in four of the five major statistical categories in her debut season with the Knights.
Giselle Lindert Olvencia led the state in the regular season with 151 draw controls — faceoff wins — and ended the year with 164. She was one of only four players to break the century mark this season.
