Eric Borchert, left, and Timmo Dugdale, got married in Madison on June 6, 2014, at their Madison home with pugs Windsor and George. They worry the U.S. Supreme Court might try to overturn gay marriage.
Shari, right, and Renee Roll-Currie, at home with their dogs, Rico, a chihuahua, and corgis Kenzi and Fergus, were the first same-sex couple to be legally married in Dane County on June 6, 2014. Although the couple had held a commitment ceremony nine years earlier, "the marriage license gives us a sense of security," Shari said.
