UNION GROVE — Union Grove High School must pay more than $100,000 in fees to a landowner as part of the high school’s ongoing effort to acquire his property.
Judge Eugene Gasiorkiewicz ruled Thursday that Daniel Riedel is entitled to receive $106,943.61 in legal fees and costs from Union Grove High School as part of the school’s ongoing effort to acquire Riedel's property.
UGHS is seeking to purchase 80 acres from Daniel Riedel so it can expand the high school campus and facilities, and that process likely will be resolved in court through eminent domain.
