Ice Castles LLC, the company which is building ice castles at the Geneva National Resort this winter, has developed a method of ice building where a cross-section of icicles are assembled before sprinklers are run through the construction area and the water freezes overnight.Â

The ice castles have returned to the Geneva National Resort for their second winter season but will be operating in a different area near the resort’s clubhouse. This year’s location will allow for indoor ticketing and have visitors exit through the clubhouse.
