The Village of Fontana-on-Geneva-Lake Board of Trustees approved a $43,417 agreement with Madison-based Race Day Events, LLC to serve as the village’s new management agency for the Fontana Triathlon, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13. The village’s previous race organizers had stepped back after the 2024 Fontana Triathlon, prompting the search for a new organizer.

The Village of Fontana-on-Geneva-Lake Board of Trustees on Feb. 5 approved entering into a request for proposals (RFP) process soliciting professional design services for a new facility or facilities to replace the village’s Merle Robinson Fontana Safety Building, 150 Fontana Blvd. The Safety Building houses the Fontana Police Department, as well as the Fontana Fire Department’s fire-rescue-EMS operations.
