Fontana Village Board trustees on Nov. 25 approved the passage of Ordinance 112524-01, adopting a $5,513,859 property tax levy for 2025 inclusive of $462,180 in Tax Increment District (TID) contributions and a $5,051,679 general village property tax levy, the latter up 1.25%. The property tax mill rate in Fontana will fall 39% to $2.216174 per $1,000 of assessed valuation, thanks to a sharp 65% year-to-year increase in assessed property valuation to $2,488,008,500.
