Northern Kentucky transfer forward Carter McCray didn't take long to come around to the idea of playing for the University of Wisconsin women's basketball team and coach Marisa Moseley. Ther ebuilding Badgers, school's academic prowess and fast relationship with Moseley helped win over the reigning Horizon League Freshman of the Year.
Carter McCray, a 6-foot-1 center, gives the Badgers another imposing post presence alongside reigning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year Serah Williams. McCray averaged 15.7 points and 11.2 rebounds per game as the only player in the Horizon League to average a double-double last season.
