The dark and spooky “enter if you dare” haunted house was among the popular long-line attractions at the Fontana Elementary School PTSO’s pre-Halloween Fall Fun Fest on Oct. 27.
Returned at long last with much anticipation, the Fontana Elementary School Parent-Teacher-Student Organization held its popular annual Fall Fun Fest for the first time since 2019 on Thursday, Oct. 27.
Costumed as a yellow baby chick, third-grader Ellie Ferretti was among the many creatively-outfitted students participating in the costume judging contest at the Fontana Elementary School PTSO’s popular annual pre-Halloween fundraising Fall Fun Fest on Oct. 27. The contest was judged by Fontana Police Department officers and Fontana Fire Department fire/rescue and EMS personnel.
Two-year-old Fontana Elementary School Falcon Early Childhood Center student Owen Adamski, 2, dressed as an excavator operator, took fourth place in the costume contest at the pre-Halloween Fontana Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO) Fall Fun Fest at the school on Oct. 27.
A crowd estimated at around 500 people attended the Fontana Elementary School Parent-Teacher-Student Organization’s popular annual pre-Halloween Fall Fun Fest on Oct. 27. The Fall Fun Fest was the first staged since 2019, after back-to-back cancellations in 2020 and 2021 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The Fall Fun Fest included a variety of carnival games and amusements, a haunted house, a cake walk, fundraising class basket raffles, a 50/50 raffle, a costume parade, a costume judging contest, a mobile DJ, and food and drink concessions.

A wide variety of generously- and creatively-stocked fundraising raffle baskets filled by the Grades 4K-8 classes at Fontana Elementary School and the day care and 3K programs at the Falcon Early Childhood Center were among the highlights of the Fontana Elementary School PTSO’s pre-Halloween Fall Fun Fest on Oct. 27 at Fontana School. Proceeds from the Fall Fun Fest are used by the PTSO to fund various enrichments to the student experience at 201-student Fontana Elementary, including book giveaways, visiting artists, field trips and art field trips.

This custom lake house between Fontana and Linn was built in 2016 for the owners of Mecum Auctions, which is headquartered in Walworth. It not only houses the family, but also an extensive car collection.
