Megan Egstad was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) in 2022. The progressive genetic connective tissue disorder means Egstad's body makes collagen incorrectly, meaning it is weaker then it should be, this causes weakness and instability, dislocations of joints, poor core strength, and other comorbidities.
