Mike Lessiter, who served as the final sports information director for the University of Wisconsin baseball team in 1991, sheds light on what the program was like before it was shuttered by the university.
Former University of Wisconsin baseball player Jason Beier has held on to his road jersey from the 1991 season after it was gifted to him by former athletic director Pat Richter. Beier also still has the black hat that members of the team wore after the decision to cut the program.
