Attorneys for the city of Madison have asked a Dane County District Court judge to dismiss a class action lawsuit filed against the city after nearly 200 absentee ballots cast in last year’s November election were never counted.

Voters cast their ballots at Union South. While President Donald Trump performed better than ever in November with college-area wards, the margins in April's election were in line with other state Supreme Court races in previous years that handed the court a liberal slant.
