Housing Initiatives plans to build this 16-unit residential development at 1802-1804 Roth St. The project would offer housing and supportive services to people with severe mental illness and a history of homelessness.
A Madison-based provider of permanent supportive housing plans to build 16 residential units across the street from its main administrative headquarters on the city’s East Side.
Housing Initiatives’ proposed 16-unit building would replace this two-unit townhome at 1802 Roth St., built in 1932. Project plans include office space for services staff and a community area for residents.
The supportive housing project would go up across the street from Housing Initiatives’ administrative headquarters at 1110 Ruskin St., above. There are nine residential units in the building in addition to staff offices.
