Vice Chancellor for Research Dorota Grejner-Brzezińska recently visited Antarctica with the National Science Board to observe researchers, including a UW-Madison team making discoveries with a deep ice particle detector. “Out of 150-something occupants of the South Pole, 28 were Badgers, so this was amazing,” Grejner-Brzezińska said.
