Conditions are far from ideal, but North America's largest cross-country ski race is a full go.
Unlike last year, the American Birkebeiner cross-country ski race will finish in downtown Hayward next week. A lack of snow limited the course in 2024. This year, just enough snow has fallen to allow for a return to the traditional course from Cable to Hayward.
