“All beaches are safe” according to Geneva Lake Environmental Agency (GLEA) Lake Manager Intern Henry Huss in the latest round of beach water quality testing around Geneva Lake. The water quality sampling for E. coli (Escherichia coli) at public beach locations around Geneva Lake was conducted Monday, July 29.

Property taxes will rise in Fontana-on-Geneva-Lake in 2025 after village trustees on Nov. 25 approved the passage of Ordinance 112524-01, adopting a $5,513,859 property tax levy inclusive of $462,180 in Tax Increment District (TID) contributions and a $5,051,679 general village property tax levy, the latter up 1.25%.
