The agreement increases bargaining unit members' employee health insurance premium contributions from 7.5% to 10% starting Jan. 1, 2027, and to 12.5% starting Jan. 1, 2028.
Under the new contract, the city will pay a $150,000 management fee to 5kevents each year, as well as an operations subsidy of $225,000 in 2026 and $237,000 in 2027.
LJGG will lease Shoop Park for a one-time payment of $1.96 million and $25,000 annually, which will be adjusted for inflation each year. The city will designate the one-time payment for the new Lincoln King Community Center.
Residents in wards 9 and 10 previously voted at Red Apple School.
