A U-Haul rental van is parked in the Whitewater Police Department parking lot May 2, the day after Whitewater’s ‘Spring Splash.’ Whitewater Police Chief Aaron Raap said they used the U-Haul vans to transport multiple police officers to areas where they needed to respond.
WHITEWATER — During this year’s Whitewater ‘Spring Splash,’ a smaller version of Madison’s Mifflin Street block party, 79 people were cited or arrested.

A tall lumberjack greeted visitors at the entrance of Lumberman’s Lodge. Chris Buttleman said he would love to find the original lumberjack and bring it back to its home and add a guitar to connect it with the House of Music.

House of Music
The House of Music is located on Highway H in the same building where the Lumberman Lodge used to be located in the 60s and 70s. The building also houses the Lake Geneva Balloon Company, a hot air balloon company, and the Spirit of Grooming, a pet groomers.

A small crowd gathered on April 9 for the House of Music’s grand opening. The cafe serves coffee drinks as well as beer and wine.
