The City of Kenosha recognized the winners of its annual Spring Election "I Voted" sticker contest Monday evening during the Common Council meeting.
The contest invited City of Kenosha students in grades 4K through 12 to submit original designs for the official "I Voted" stickers to be used in the upcoming Spring Election on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Students participating in the contest were required to be residents of the City of Kenosha.
Winners were selected from three grade categories: grades 4K-3, grades 4-8 and grades 9-12. With parent permission, nine student winners were recognized by the Common Council.
In partnership with Allegra Kenosha, the winning designs will be printed and distributed as the city’s official "I Voted" stickers for the Spring Election.

“We were thrilled with the creative entries we received,” said Clerk & Treasurer Michelle Nelson, who also thanked election inspectors, school staff, teachers and parents for their support. “To all the students who participated, your enthusiasm made this contest truly special.”
Communication & Election Specialist Alyssa Padjen, who helped spearhead the effort, introduced the winners during the Common Council meeting.
“Tonight, we are proud to recognize nine talented winners whose artwork will be printed and distributed to voters in the upcoming Spring Election,” Padjen said. “This contest was a fun and meaningful way for students to connect with the election process, and we hope they feel pride seeing their designs come to life as our official ‘I Voted’ stickers.”
Padjen also noted Allegra Kenosha as an “invaluable partner” in bringing the project to life.
Mayor David Bogdala praised the students’ efforts and creativity.
