OK, you know how nice the weather is now. It’s sunny, almost balmy. Spring has popped and summer is on the way soon. I love taking a walk — in the woods, in the UW-Madison Arboretum, or along a bike trail. It’s so nice to be away from the traffic.

Free trishaw rides
The Verona Senior Center, 108 Paoli St., now offers free trishaw rides along the nearby Military Ridge State Trail. Reservations are required, and rides are offered weather permitting.
You can sign up for a 30-minute ride by scanning this QR code, by calling 608-845-7471 or by doing a Google search for Verona Trishaw Ride.
The rides are free, though donations to the Verona Senior Center are always welcome to help support ongoing maintenance of the bike and the program itself.
Considering that nearly 50% of all adults have high blood pressure, this is good news.
