On Thursday, May 24, Gov. Tony Evers (right) continued his week of statewide travel during National Travel & Tourism Week with a Racine County stop at O&H Danish Bakery in Racine. The governor was led on a tour by Peter Olesen (left), a fourth-generation owner of O&H Danish Bakery, a family-owned and operated business operating out of Racine since 1949. Joined by Oleson and Racine Mayor Corey Mason (center) Evers during his visit shaped, filled and frosted his own kringle, the official state pastry, in the shape of Wisconsin.

Celebrating National Travel and Tourism Week, Gov. The Borealis train service, the first new passenger rail service in Wisconsin in more than 20 years, doubles passenger rail options along a corridor that connects many businesses, universities, tourist attractions, and communities in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois, with eight stops in Wisconsin at La Crosse, Tomah, Wisconsin Dells, Portage, Columbus, Milwaukee, the Milwaukee airport, and Sturtevant.

The Lake Geneva Farmer's Market officially began Thursday, May 2 with a variety of vendors along Broad Street, Wisconsin Street and Geneva Street
The Lake Geneva Farmer’s Market officially began May 2 and will be held each Thursday through Oct. 31, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., along Broad Street, Wisconsin Street and Geneva Street.
