This Saturday families are invited to enjoy free candy, festivities and more. The Kenosha YMCA’s Youth and Family Department will host a trunk or treat event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon in the YMCA parking lot, 7101 53rd Street.
Early in-person absentee voting is underway in Kenosha County for the Nov. 3 election and will continue throughout Oct. 30 at municipal clerks' offices.
Visit Pleasant Prairie's fifth annual Halloween Lights Tour will run through Oct. 31 and features 20 homes. Participants in the tour are invited to vote on their favorite spooky house to help crown the pumpkin king or queen of Pleasant Prairie.
The improvements will be funded 75% by money from the Village of Somers' tax incremental financing districts, with the remainder coming from the village's Sewer Fund.
