The Geneva Lake West Rotary Club's recent golf outing and dinner fundraiser netted nearly $10,000 in support of local student scholarships for select seniors at Williams Bay, Faith Christian and Big Foot high schools.

On March 4, Fontana-based Big Foot Country Club announced that Big Foot Union High School Class of 2024 senior Andrew Ruhl has been awarded a full housing and tuition Evans Scholarship valued at an estimated $125,000 over four years. The Glenview, Ill.-based Western Golf Association has supported the Chick Evans Scholarship Program, the nation’s largest scholarship program for caddies, through the Evans Scholars Foundation since 1930.
