Photos: Riders enjoy new pump track at Aldo Leopold Park

The track at Aldo Leopold Park is the first of its kind in Madison, providing a new amenity for the South Side neighborhood and giving riders throughout the community access to something they previously had to drive two hours to find.
Pump track
Keitavion Harrison drops into the new pump track at Aldo Leopold Park on Friday. Built with a $125,000 grant from Dane County, the park is the first of its kind in the area. An opening celebration is scheduled for Saturday.

Pump track
Unlike most skate parks in the area, the pump track is open to anyone with wheels, from skateboards to BMX bikes, and from beginners to experts.

As the town of Madison becomes part of the cities of Madison and Fitchburg on Monday, some residents will face hassles with changing addresses and street names -- just days before the coming election.
