Two men who were involved with the same woman were found dead outside of a mobile home in Janesville Thursday night in what appears to be a murder-suicide stemming from a domestic disturbance, police said.
Officers responded to the Town & Country Mobile Home Park, 1105 Kellogg Ave., at around 10 p.m. Thursday after multiple callers reported hearing about 10 shots fired consecutively, Janesville Deputy Police Chief Todd Kleisner said.

A 28-year-old Madison man pleaded guilty Monday to sex assault and burglary charges for a string of incidents in September 2019.
Luis Ruiz-Ugalde pleaded guilty to felony attempted second-degree sex assault of a child and misdemeanor fourth-degree sexual assault, as well as felony burglary. The first stems from an incident on Sept. 22, 2019, on a Madison Metro bus when he groped a 13-year-old girl, the second for groping a woman outside her Near East Side home two days before.
Speed and alcohol use believed to be factors in Fitchburg crash that left 25-year-old man dead
A 25-year-old man is dead after he crashed his car early Monday morning in Fitchburg, police said.
Alcohol and speed are believed to have been factors in the crash, which happened around 4:40 a.m. in the 2500 block of Highway MM between Irish Lane and Haight Farm Road, police said.

Madison police have arrested a child in connection with a social media threat made last week against West High School.
The Snapchat message posted early last week said the school would be targeted on Monday.
“My revenge has come,” the message said. “West High School, I despise your students and culture and on May 17 I will seek revenge. You can cancel school or add security that date, but that won’t stop me. I’ll simply Do it on another day ... unannounced.”

A Bucky Badger statue that was part of the Bucky on Parade public art event three years ago was stolen sometime overnight Saturday from its home in Middleton, police reported.
The Bucky, known as “Funky Buckingham,” was taken from in front of the Greenway Station shopping center offices on Deming Way between 11 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.
Man sentenced to 6 years in shooting during 2018 marijuana deal
A man who shot another man Downtown during a 2018 dispute over a marijuana transaction was sentenced Tuesday to six years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree reckless endangerment.
In a sentence mutually recommended to Circuit Judge Ellen Berz by prosecutors and the defense, Shaquille E. Richardson, 28, will also spend five years on extended supervision after his release from prison. His time in prison will be shortened by nearly two years as credit for the time Richardson has spent in custody since his arrest in November 2018.
Verona police investigating after woman says she was assaulted on Military Ridge State Trail
Verona police are investigating after a woman said she was physically assaulted on Military Ridge State Trail near Lincoln Street Monday night.
The woman told police she was walking on the trail at around 8:30 p.m. Monday when a man grabbed her from behind, partially covered her mouth and pulled her to the ground, Chief Bernard Coughlin said. The woman said she was able to scream and fight off the man.

Madison police have offered a more detailed description as they seek to identify a suspect in a child enticement at Yahara Place Park on the East Side on May 6.
At around 7:30 p.m. on May 6, police responded to report of a child enticement at the park at 2025 Yahara Place, Officer Michael Malloy said in a report.
A girl told police she had been approached by a white man in his 20s wishing to provide her a massage. The girl returned home and reported the incident to an adult, Malloy said.
