Here is a up-close look at the University of Chicago property along Geneva Lake, including a video of deer on the property. University officials have said they plan to sell the university's remaining 8 acres along the lakefront. The question remains if it will be sold and made residential or institutional. Here is a look at the property on Friday, April 23. The public easement from the lake to Constance Boulevard is set to remain under the current residential plan.

Here the University of Chicago lakefront property up for sale is shown. The public easement from the lake to Constance Boulevard is set to remain under the current residential plan. The university says it plans to sell the land. They are trying to rezone it residential. But will sell it zoned institutional if needed, which would allow for other developments.

An old staircase remains on the University of Chicago property along Geneva Lake. The property is for sale and is set to be sold, although its yet to be determined if the village will allow it to be rezoned residential. The stairs were reportedly used by George Williams College to connect to the east campus that was previously located along the lake.
